Where and how are your cupcakes, cakes & brownies made?
All baked goods sold in-store and online via our website are baked and decorated in a commercial kitchen in our brand new store in Leichhardt.
We do not operate a production line or use industrial machinery. Everything is freshly baked each day in small batches and decorated one order at a time! It's why they taste so good.
Can I attach a gift note with my order?
Yes, on checkout there is an option to write a gift message. There are no additional costs for this.
Do you sell or hire out cupcake stands/towers?
Most definitely. We have several sized tiers for rent starting from $20. The cupcake stands can only be picked up in store. We also have cardboard stands available for purchase on-line and in store.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments by Visa, Mastercard and American Express online, and Visa, Mastercard, American Express, EFTPOS or cash in store.
What is the size of your cupcakes?
Our standard cupcakes are bigger than the average 'mini' and are about 3-5 mouthfuls. They are about 5cm wide by 7cm high.
We believe this is the perfect size!
Can I customise what’s on my cupcakes or cake?
What are your flavours?
All our cupcakes and cakes are a vanilla butter cake with pure buttercream icing. We do offer flavoured buttercream such as raspberry, lemon curd, caramel, chocolate, passion fruit, coffee and vanilla bean.
We also do a yummy cupcake sized chocolate brownie.
Delivery & Pickup

Do you deliver?
Yes, we deliver cupcakes, brownies and cookies Sydney wide. Delivery prices start from $15.00. Order online and pick the date you want the cupcakes delivered.
The price for delivery will be displayed on checkout based on your location.
Can I pickup my order?
Our brand new look store in Leichhardt Sydney is open from Tuesday to Saturday.

Dietary information
Questions about dietary requirements.
Do you offer Gluten-free options?
Yes! Almost everything available online can be ordered in gluten free, and they taste yummy. When selecting your cupcakes, be sure to choose the gluten free option. Please note some decorations may vary to ensure it’s all gluten free.
Are you nut-free?
Yes! We bake and decorate in a nut free kitchen. There are no nuts on any of our products.
Do you make dairy-free, egg-free or lactose-free products?
Yes! We now have a Vegan Cupcake set which is free from all animal related ingredients. Click here to BUY.
Are your cupcakes and cakes halal?
Yes, they are.
Storage
Questions about storing your treats from The Cupcake Room.
How should I store my cupcakes & cakes and how long will they last?
Our cupcakes & cakes will last 'fresh' for 3-5 days at room temperature. Please don't put them in the fridge, we don't want them to dry out!
We recommend keeping them in the box they've come with until you need them, in a cool dry area.
How should I store my brownie and how long will it last?
Our brownies will stay fresh for up to 5 days.
You can also store it in the freezer until you need it and let it thaw.
Ordering
Questions about the ordering process.
How much notice do I need to give to place an order?
Orders for our standard cupcake range can be placed by 11:00 AM Tuesday-Thursday, 10:00 AM Friday and 8:00AM Saturday for same-day delivery.
Brownies and cupcakes with edible images, or corporate logo's need to be submitted by midday for next-day delivery.
Celebration cakes will need to be submitted 3 days prior to pickup, for example, if you need a cake for Saturday it will need to be submitted by midnight Wednesday.
Cookies require five business days notice.
What happens if I need to amend my order?
Depending on what you've ordered, we may need a few days notice to make changes. Generally, the notice requirement for the product is the cut off for changes, as we may have started working on getting your order ready.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change, by phone (if urgent), or by email.
Do you make bespoke cupcakes, cakes or cookies?
We offer a level of personalisation, so you can
- Have a special message on your cake
- Add an image to your cupcake cake or cupcakes
We can make changes colours or slight changes to designs,
We generally don't replicate designs of cakes but feel free to enquire.

Do you have a physical store?
Yes! Our store is located close to the Sydney CBD at 207 Norton Street Leichhardt 2040.
Is your store pick up only?
Our store has seating and service.
What do you offer in your store?
We have a large selection of cupcakes which we are continually topping up throughout the day. It's best to pre-order larger quantities and we will have it ready for you when you arrive.
We also offer a selection of cookies, brownie pieces, chocolates which are handmade (by us) and our gift store.
We also have barista-prepared coffee, special tea, milkshakes & more.
